Praising God Through Music

It is such a privilege to be able to serve the Lord through Salem Baptist Church.  My wife, Kim, and I live in Galivants Ferry and have only been in this area a few short years, having moved from New Orleans to Florence for work related reasons.

As we began to search for a new Church home, it seemed that everywhere we searched just wasn't quite right, until we came to Salem Baptist Church.  We fell in love with the Church and immensely enjoy serving the Lord here. 

God's Word says this about His Music in Ephesians 5:19  "Addressing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart".  It is such a joy to be a part of our Music ministry here at Salem. God has brought a lot of talent to our Church, and it is so great to see that talent being developed almost daily in its members.   My prayer is that He will continue to grow this ministry and use it to draw others to Jesus Christ as we "sing and make melody to the Lord with all our hearts"
